| Eventually, snowboarding took precedence, and from his early days as a sponsored rider during the 1990s, he moved on to coach at Windells Camp on Mt. Hood, Oregon and became a contributing editor for Transworld Media in 1999. He has since been published in Transworld Snowboarding, Transworld Skateboarding, Transworld Surf, Transworld Business, Snowboarder Magazine, Rides Magazine and served as the editor of SNOWBOARD Magazine until July 2009.
